Anthony M. Marchesani

Anthony M. Marchesani, 79, of Charlestown, MA, formerly of Providence, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Nina (Plotnick) Marchesani and devoted son of the late Nicholas and Michela (Savino) Marchesani.

Born in Providence, Anthony graduated Classical High School and Brown University. He also attended Harvard University and received a Master’s Degree from Northeastern University. Anthony was captain of the Classical and Brown track teams and held many state track records. He was an Actuary for the State of MA for many years before his retirement.

He is survived by a loving sister, Marie Marsella and her husband Charles. He is also survived by a niece, Michelle Lombardo and her husband Steven; a nephew, Christopher Marsella and his wife Bethany and four great-nieces and nephews, Alexandra, Chloe, Nicholas and Lucca.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10am at Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. www.maceroni.com
