Dorothy " Dot " Troiano

Dorothy M. “Dot” Troiano (Leonardo), 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 21, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael D. Troiano Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Concetta (Venditto) Leonardo.

Mrs. Troiano was a devoted mother and homemaker.
She leaves her loving children, Deborah Marot and her husband Raymond, Patricia Gagnon and her husband Garry and Michael D. Troiano, Jr. and his wife Nancy. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Sherri Gonicberg, Danielle Troiano, Raymond, Michael and Richard Marot; dear great-grandchildren, Daniel, Jordan and Alex Marot; a sister in-law and friend, Marie Leonardo; and her K-9 companion, Baby Doll. She was the sister of the late Paul and Richard Leonardo.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 9am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 64 Brayton Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 23rd from 4-7pm.
