Gloria Caruso

September 15, 1932 — May 30, 2022

Gloria (Ricci) Caruso, 89, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 30, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She was the former wife of the late Anthony Caruso. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late John and Pasqualina "Bessie" (LaFazia) Ricci.

Gloria was a hairdresser and later worked as a real estate agent with RE/MAX for many years before retiring. St. Rocco's CYO gatherings were held at her home many times because she wanted to keep her daughters close and was like a second mom to their friends. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose family meant the world to her. Gloria fought many courageous health battles over the years because of her determination not to leave her children.

She is survived by her three cherished daughters; Debra Caruso, Cheri Morelli and her husband Frank and Toni Jean Wall and her husband James; two treasured grandchildren, Vanessa Williams and her husband Steven and Tyler Caruso; and her two adored great-grandchildren, Emma and Luke Williams. She was the grandmother of the late Jonathan Pacheco.

Visitation will be held Tuesday Morning, June 7, 2022, from 8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
