Joseph "Cappy" Cappuccilli
October 3, 1941 — July 30, 2015
JOSEPH F CAPPUCCILLI. “CAPPY”, 73, of Providence, passed away, Thursday, July 30, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn F. (Cipressi) Cappuccilli for 48 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Burns) Cappuccilli.
Mr. Cappuccilli worked for New England Picture Frame for 40 years before retiring. He was an Army Veteran.
His hobbies included, the love of antique cars and American Flyer trains.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Joseph M. Cappuccilli and his wife Jaime and Robert P. Cappuccilli; a daughter, Lisa A. Albanese and her husband John; a sister, Carolyn (Cappuccilli) Wentworth; six grandchildren and three nieces.
His funeral will be held Monday, August 3, 2015 at 9 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Ave., Providence. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Sunday, August 2nd from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Cappuccilli’s memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914.
