Adele Mosco (D’Agostino), 89, of North Providence, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010. She was the wife of the late Sisto A. Mosco and mother of Maureen A. Mosco with whom she lived until her illness necessitated nursing care at Heritage Hills Nursing Centre.
Mrs Mosco was a former business woman and a clerk at the R.I. State Courts until her retirement in 1983. She was co-owner with her husband of the former Mosco's Market in Providence.
Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Angelo and Mariana (Albanese) D’Agostino, Mrs Mosco was the sister of Rudolph D’Agostino and his wife Yvette of Smithfield, the sister-in-law of Paul and Virginia Mosca of North Providence and the sister of the late Edmond D’Agostino, Matilda Simone and Anthony D’Agostino.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, Fourth St., North Providence. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In Lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Heritage Hills Activity Fund, 80 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917.
