PAOLILLI, ALBERT, 80, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2006, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the husband of Olga (Rossi) Paolilli. They had been married for 56 years. A lifelong resident of Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Filomena (Ambrosini) Paolilli.
Albert had been the Vice President of the former Blue Ribbon Beef Company of Providence for over 20 years. He later worked as a toolmaker for R.I. Metro of Warwick from 1971 to l992. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and worked in the Corps of Engineers. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Holy Ghost Church and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mary Ann Florio and her husband Ralph Florio and Jean Martinelli and her husband John Martinelli; four grandchildren, Ralph Florio II Stephanie Florio, John Martinelli II and Christopher Martinelli and a greatgrandson, Raffaele Alberto Florio. He was the brother of the late Frank C. Paolilli.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 8am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in Holy Ghost Church, Providence. VISITATION Monday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
