Albert R. Alessandro, 57, of Warwick, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Philip S. and Mary D. ( Cottigoli ) Alessandro. He leaves his beloved daughter, Taryn E. Alessandro of North Stonington, CT; brother Anthony P. Alessandro, DDS of Barrington, RI; sister Joni J. Pratte of St. Louis, MO; a large extended family and many devoted friends.
Albert relished his work as a Policy Aide and Business Liaison Specialist for the Department of Economic Development, later joining the Tasca Automotive Group. He distinguished himself as an All-State football player at Classical High School and on Northeastern University's Football Team in Boston.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 10am in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours respectfully omitted.
