Angela M. DiSano

Angela M. DiSano (Varricchione), 96, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Kent Hospital in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Mario DiSano. Born in Cervinara, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Virginia (Mangini) Varricchione.
Angela was a trained pattern designer and a seamstress for the former Outlet Company, Robert's Manufacturing and Kennedy's for many years before retiring.
She is survived by four children, Rosana Johnson and her husband, Paul, Loretta Finegan and Rita Walsh and her husband, Martin; three grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. She was the mother-in-law of the late Jeff Finegan and sister of the late Pietro, Orlando and Eda Varricchione.
Visitation will be held Saturday Morning, July 17, 2021, from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Entombment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Angela's memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
