Angela Ricci (DiPanni), 90, of Providence, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul A. Ricci, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Carmela (DeCotis) DiPanni.
Angela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She leaves a son, Paul A. Ricci and his wife, Linda of West Warwick; two daughters, Virginia Gray and her husband, James of Providence and Amy R. Harmon and her husband, James of Exeter; a sister, Levia Finocchiaro of Westerly; four grandchildren,Catherine Verry of North Providence, Theresa Daigle of Bradford, Maine, Barbara Kansiewicz of North Providence and Matthew Bertrand of Cranston; eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Santo, Anthony, Frank and Grace DiPanni.
Her funeral will be held Friday, September 10, 2010, at 9 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Visitation Thursday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
