ANN MONTANARO (SMALDONE), 93, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at Grandview Center in Cumberland. She was the wife of the late William J. Montanaro. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose (Lorenzo) Smaldone.
Mrs. Montanaro worked as a secretary at WGBH before retiring.
She is survived by her niece, Nancy Dandurand; two great nieces; a great nephew and a great great-nephew. She was the sister of the late George Smaldone, Domenic Romeo and Phyllis Romeo Novak.
Visitation will be held Wednesday Morning, December 9, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by a Service at 11 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Entombment will be in St. Ann Cemetery - Our Risen Christ Mausoleum, Cranston. maceroni.com
