Anna F. Lombardi

ANNA F. (LOFFREDO) LOMBARDI, 91, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frank Lombardi, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Tutalo) Loffredo.

Mrs. Lombardi worked in the Jewelry Industry for over 75 years. Her last place of employment was at Swarovski Jewelry. In her younger years she rode motorcycles with her husband and later learned to fly airplanes. She was a former member of the RI Civil Air Patrol and Commander of the Frank Lombardi Composite Squadron. She loved gardening and was a devoted Christian.

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her cherished daughter, Anna Lombardi and her husband Steven Beliveau with whom she resided; three sons, Rev. Andrew J. Lombardi, Sr., Frank Lombardi, Jr. and Salvatore Lombardi (Ret. Woonsocket PD and Ret. Treasury Dept.) and his wife, Micheline; a brother, Edmond Loffredo; two sisters, Gloria Patrona and Eleanor Wigman; five grandchildren, Kevin Harrison Lombardi, Andrew Lombardi Jr., Richard Lombardi, Ruthann Lombardi and Frank Lombardi III; ten great-grandchildren; and two great great grandsons. She was the sister of the late Michael, Raymond, Rudolf, Joseph Loffredo.

Visitation will be held Monday Morning, October 19, 2015 from 8:15 – 10:15 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory may be made to St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828.
