Anna M. Grieco ( Petteruti), 81, of Johnston, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late George Grieco. They had been married for 56 years. Born in East Greenwich, she was the daughter of the late Leopold and Concetta (Peluso) Petteruti.
Anna had been a Billing Clerk at the former Outlet Company for over 40 years and was a communicant of St. Pius Church. She leaves a brother, Joseph L. Petteruti, OD and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30a.m. in St. Pius Church, Eaton St., Providence. VISITATION Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Miriam Hospital Foundation, Box H, Annex Station, Providence, RI 02901.
