ANNA TEOLIS (CORTELESSA), 84, of Providence, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston from complications of an aneurysm. She was the beloved wife of the late William Teolis. Born in Barrington, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Giustina (Russo) Cortelessa.
Anna is survived by her son, William C. Teolis, who she cared for, loved, and fed well with her wonderful Italian cooking. She was a homemaker who spent all of her time devoted to her son and late husband. She was a gourmet cook and an avid bingo player. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Panzarella, her brothers, Domenic and Joseph Cortelessa and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jim Cortelessa, Carmella Lopez, Mary Andreozzi and Etta Bianchi.
Visitation at the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, Wednesday morning 10-11am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Edward Church, Branch Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 205 Hallene Rd., Warwick, RI 02886
