Anthony Palmieri

Anthony Palmieri, 91, of Smithfield, passed away Tuesday July 31, 2018 at Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the beloved husband of Marianne (McCaughey) Palmieri. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carmine and Carolina (Aceto) Palmieri. Anthony was the proprietor of Palmieri's Bakery for many years. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. Besides his wife, he is survived by a sister, Carol Bello; two nieces, Donna Palumbo and Melissa Fernandes, and two nephews, Joseph and Stephen Palmieri. He was the brother of the late Dominic and Joseph Palmieri. A Committal Service will be held Friday August 3, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
