Antonetta K. Madonna

June 12, 1926 — May 26, 2022

Antonetta “Nettie” DeLuca Madonna, 95 of Warwick, Rhode Island passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Christina DeLuca. Nettie was the loving wife of the late Andrea “Andy” J. Madonna.

She is survived by her children: Andrew P. Madonna and wife Cheryl of Johnston, Roberta A. Salois and husband David of Warwick, Robert J. Madonna and wife Maryann of Cranston, and Raymond E. Madonna and wife Lynda of Las Vegas, Nevada. She was the cherished grandmother of Bianca C. McGinn and husband Brian, Michaela L. Lacerda Dju and husband Arnaldo, Robert J. Madonna, Nicholas D. Salois, Cara M. Madonna and fiancé Nico, Chelsey R. Madonna, Joseph A. Madonna and Stephanie, and Gia B. Madonna. Nettie was the proud great-grandmother of Gian M. Madonna, Brielle B. Madonna, and one great-grandchild on the way. Nettie is survived by her youngest brother Richard DeLuca and wife Cathy of Johnston. She was predeceased by her brothers Michael, Anthony, Vincent, and Raymond DeLuca.

Nettie’s love for family was unconditional. She enjoyed being around everyone with a nice glass of wine and laughing with her loud family. Nettie was an avid Red Sox Fan who loved to celebrate opening day with her Cracker Jack in hand. On a beautiful day you could find her outside under the sun getting her tan on. During holidays or family gatherings she would prepare her fried garden eggplant or bake her famous Oatmeal Raisin cookies, Apple Cake, or Ice-Box Cake.

To the Queen “Good Moms let their kids lick the beaters. Great Moms turn the mixer off first”. She will be missed immensely by her family.

Visitation will be held Friday Morning, June 3, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nettie’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard STE. 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
