Antonetta Vendetuoli (Cinami), 85, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Vendetuoli. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Guglielmo and Antonietta (Mancini) Cinami.
Mrs. Vendetuoli was a bookkeeper at The Providence Journal for many years before retiring.
A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her daughter, Regina Nastari and her husband Ronald; two grandchildren, Tracey DelVecchio and Michael Vendetuoli; and her great granddaughter, Shayla Rose. She was the mother of the late Ronald Vendetuoli and the sister of the late Anthony “Slim” Cinami, Emily Cinami, Loretta Harrington and Viola Procaccini.
Visitation Tuesday morning from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RISPCA), 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915.
