Antonetta “Dolly” DiCiurcio (Vessella), 91, of Providence, a former resident of Academy Ave., passed away Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred “Chip” DiCiurcio. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Angela (Cristofara) Vessella.
Mrs. DiCiurcio was owner and operator of Armington Jewelry of Providence for many years. She was a loving and giving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She leaves a daughter, Beverly Rutan and her husband, James; a grandson, Alfred Zannini and his wife Debra: a great granddaughter, Ashley Lynn Zannini and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert Vessella, Modesta DiPetrillo, Mary Cerrone, Frances Grasso and Viola Pereschino.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m., from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Ave., Providence. VISITATION Monday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
