Antonetta “Etta” Perrotta, 74, of Johnston, passed away Friday, September 10, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Perrotta, Sr. and Katherine “Katie” (Palmieri) Perrotta.
Etta was an Administrative Assistant with the Providence School Department for 30 years until retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Clerical Union, Local 1339 and was on the board of New Homes for Federal Hill.
She leaves her dear cousin, Joan Capone and many Godchildren. She was the sister of the late Antonio “Tony” Perrotta, Jr. and the dear cousin of the late Anna Purro.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45 a.m., from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
