Antonio Rabaiotti, 95, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary (Lonardo) Rabaiotti. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Bartolomeo and Maria (Colafrancesco) Rabaiotti. Mr. Rabaiotti worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 27 years before retiring. An Army Veteran of World War II, he was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He is survived by his two children, Anthony W. Rabaiotti and his wife Gretchen Snyder and Susan M. Rabaiotti; two sisters, Lucy Hitchen and Catherine Briganti; a grandson, Anthony Rabaiotti and 2 great grandchildren, Alexander and Gabriella. He was the brother of the late Rocco Rabaiotti, Armando Rabaiotti and Emily Marganti. Visitation will be held TUESDAY MORNING, October 30, 2018 from 9 - 10:15 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
