Antonio Ursillo, 75, of Birchwood Drive, North Providence, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Roger Williams Medical Center. He was the husband of Marianna (Broccoli) Ursillo for 50 years. Born in Roccamonfina, Italy, he was the son of the late Aquilino and Maria (Lonardo) Ursillo.
Mr. Ursillo had worked as a meat cutter at Providence College for 10 years, before retiring and had served in the Italian Navy.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Annamaria Ursillo of North Providence; a brother, Luigi Ursillo in Italy; a sister, Elisa Ruocci in Italy; many brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. VISITATION Monday 4-7pm. Entombment will follow in Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, 222 Richmond St., Providence, RI 02903 would be appreciated.
