Barbara A. DeAngelis

Barbara A. DeAngelis, 90, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Bayberry Commons, Pascoag. She was the wife of the late David L. DeAngelis. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Alphonse and Concetta (Iannazzi) Polselli.

Mrs. DeAngelis and her late husband David were nominated by Special Olympics for family of the year. Barbara was an avid bowler and loved reading, cooking and dancing.
A devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, she is survived by her children, Paul J. DeAngelis, Lisa A. Capracotta and her husband Stephen, Michael E. DeAngelis and Alan D. DeAngelis; sister of Thomas Polselli and Elaine Mosley; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and her daughter-in-law Aurelia DeAngelis. She was the mother of the late David L. DeAngelis Jr.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith Street, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
