Barbara Ann Rotondo

Barbara A. Rotondo (Algeni), 86, of Providence, formerly of East Greenwich, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Elmhurst Extended Care. She was the beloved wife of the late John Rotondo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Filomena (Damiano) Algeni.
She loved to cook and bake for her friends and family. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church for 25 years.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Lois Arsenault, Marcia Montanaro (David Balsamo) and Kenneth Montanaro (Deborah), Thomas Byrne (Joanne) and Robert Algeni, Pat Rotondo (Debbie). She was the sister of the late Albert and Joseph Algeni, Nancy Byrne, Mary Montanaro and Ann Pellegrini.
Visiting hours will be Friday, November 26, 2021 from 9-10 AM at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Church, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950 (stjude.org).
