Carmela E. Vellucci, 98, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 1, 2021, at Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini in North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Pasco Vellucci. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Ersilia (Fuoco) Petreccia.
She was employed at Federal Products for many years before retiring.
She was the cherished aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Vincent, Louis and Mary Petreccia, Anna Marcone, Rose Fitzsimmons, Angela Kiley and Antonetta Gill.
We would like to thank Capital Ridge in Providence, Bayview Rehab at Scalabrini and Kindred Hospice for all their kindness and support.
Visiting hours will be Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery Mausoleum in Cranston. Flowers respectfully omitted.
