TESTA, CHRISTINA “RUSTY” (BOCCANFUSO), 82, of Beaufort St., passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Our lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the wife of Frank D. Testa. A lifelong resident of Providence, she was the daughter of the late Paolo and Immocolata ( DelPonte) Boccanfuso.
Rusty had worked as a cook at the Holy Ghost Day Care in Providence for 27 years until retiring in 1997. She was a warm and loving person to all who knew her.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Donald Testa and his wife Joan; two daughters, Donna Tourtellot and Karen Escobar and her husband Anthony; two sisters, Jenny Massarone and Pauline Mollica and 3 grandchildren, Christopher Tourtellot, Stephanie Rendina and Donald Testa, Jr. She was the mother of the late Cheryl Testa and the sister of the late Michael, Joseph, Pasquale, Simeone and Raymond Boccanfuso, Anna Lancia, Madeline Mosca, Antonetta Rivelli, Immacolata Bianco and Helen Marino.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 8am, from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence. VISITATION Friday 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Holy Ghost Day Care, 33 Swiss St., Providence, R.I. 02909.
