Claire M. Ouellette

Claire M. Ouellette (Rosini), sixty eight, of Providence, passed away peacefully, December 10, 2008, after an extended illness. She was the beloved wife of Maurice P. “Moe” Ouellette and the daughter of the late Nicholas and G. Marie (Rossi) Rosini. Besides her husband of forty five years, she leaves her children, Jeffrey and Marlene.

Claire was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and taught second grade at St. Thomas Regional School for twenty-eight years. She previously taught in the Providence Public School System. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and Rhode Island College. She served as secretary for Coast Guard Auxiliary 78, and was a member of the Narragansett Yacht Club. Claire leaves many friends and family in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Florida, Italy, Spain and Australia.

Her funeral will be held Monday, December 15, 2008 at 9:00 AM from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. VISITATION Sunday 2 – 6 PM.
