Concetta DellaGrotta (Viti), 83, of Providence, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Salvatore DellaGrotta, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Magiacomo) Viti.
A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by her two children, Ken DellaGrotta and Linda DellaGrotta; a sister, Gloria Melino and her two grandchildren, Kyle DellaGrotta and his fiancée, Laura Hottoy and Taylor Lebel and her husband, Robert. She was the sister of the late Louis Viti, Anthony Viti and Marie Montecalvo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., North Providence. Visitation is respectfully omitted and burial in St. Ann Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. DellaGrotta's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
