Corinne Campanella, of North Providence, passed away Monday, Septemebr 7, 2009 at The Connecticut Hospice. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Matthew J. and Ursula “Daisy” (Sorrentino) Campanella.
A Graduate of Bryant College, Corinne worked for American Universal Insurance Company as a Subrogation Specialist and was a member of the Subrogation Forum. She was a volunteer for the Ileitis and Colitis Foundation and was a communicant of St. Ann Church in Providence and was a member of the St. Ann Sodality.
She leaves a sister, Caroll Romano and her husband, Thomas, of Guilford, CT; two nieces, Trisha Braumann and her husband, Robert and Susan Miller; Five great nephews and nieces, Austin, Alexis, Aiden, Cassidy and Colton; her beloved companion, Jack Freitas of Cranston and a stepson, Mark Freitas of Greenwich, CT and Palm Beach, FL.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m., from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, Hawkins St., Providence. VISITATION Thursday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
