Derek J. Ewings

Derek J. Ewings, 53, of North Providence, passed away on Tuesday April 16, 2024, at home. Born in Providence, he was the son of Willie J. Ewings and the late Regina (Davis) Ewings - Kimball. Derek was the stepson of Joyce H. Lussier.

He was still employed as a cook at the Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation, Providence.

Derek also leaves three sisters, Denesha Ewings of Texas, Sylisha Ewings, Charlese Hill  and Twina Cooper-Williams of Texas, one brother, Marquis Ewings of Texas, his companion Pamela “Pam” Tammaro and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late DeVera Johnson.   

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Prayer Service on Monday April 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Derek’s memory may be made to the Diabetes Association Inc., 4 South Main Street, Fall River, MA 02721.
