Domenic Carbone, Sr.

Domenic Carbone, Sr., 96, of Johnston, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the VA Medical Center in Providence. He was married to the love of his life Anna M. (Vigorito) Carbone for 65 years, until her passing in 2019. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Assunta “Susan” (Tedeschi) Carbone.

Domenic was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He cherished his family and many friends; and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked for Bulova Watch for 20 years before retiring.

He is survived by his three children, Cheryl Carbone, Domenic Carbone, Jr. and his wife Cathi and Michael Carbone and his wife Sheril; four grandchildren, John Carbone and his wife Megan, Michael Carbone, Amy Carbone Allard and her husband Jason and Matthew Carbone; and his great-grandchildren, Addison, Evan, Grayson, Kaia and Cedar. He was the brother of the late Angelina Singster and Frank, Anthony, Rudolph and Joseph Carbone.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Domenic’s funeral will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
