Mr. DiNitto worked for Gilbane Construction and Imperial Knife for many years before retiring. He was a member of the San Biagio Society.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Rose Maria Grasso and Donna Maureen Vicario and her husband John Vicario, Jr.; his brother, Angelo DiNitto; two sisters, Maria L’Europa and Antonietta Volpe; four grandchildren, Nicholas Grasso, Cristina Grasso Agonia, John B. Vicario III and Stefanie Vicario; and his great-grandson, Luca Agonia. He was the father-in-law of the late Fortunato Grasso and brother of the late Anita DiNitto.
Visitation will be held Tuesday Morning, March 7, 2023 from 9 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence. Entombment will be in St. Ann Cemetery Mausoleum, Cranston. Please omit flowers.
