Dorothy "Dottie" A. Monroe

DOROTHY “DOTTIE” A. MONROE, 74, of North Providence, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Home & Hospice Care of RI surrounded by loving friends. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edwin M. and Anna (Roberto) Monroe and beloved sister of the late Marion “Barbara” Monroe.

Dottie worked in the jewelry industry for many years before retiring. She devoted most of her life caring for her cherished sister with whom she resided. A woman of great faith, her generosity and kindness will be sadly missed by all.

Visitation and funeral will be held on Monday Morning, December 28, 2015 at 9 a.m. at the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Pius V Church, Eaton St., Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Donations in Dottie’s memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
