Dorothy R. Musumeci

Dorothy R. Musumeci (Tucker), 76, of North Providence passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 5, 2009. She was the beloved wife of Thomas R. Musumeci. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Warren F. and Mildred M. (Coleman) Tucker.

Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her husband of 55 years, she will be sadly missed by her children, Thomas Musumeci, Jr., Robert Musumeci, Steven Musumeci and Diane DeCesare; her grandchildren, Thomas, Justin, Sierra, Liam, Luc and Grey Musumeci and Vincent and Alexandra DeCesare and her sisters, Shirley Tartaglia, June O’Brien, Kay Gray and Mildred Buckner. She was the sister of the late Irene Collins and Warren “Sonny” Tucker.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul, One Cathedral Square, Providence. Visiting hours respectfully omitted. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
