Elda M. Castillo

Elda M. (Lopez) Castillo, 82, of North Providence, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021. She was the wife of Jorge Castillo. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Nicasio "Casio" Lopez and Juana "Mita" (Sanchez) Lopez. Elda worked for various jewelry manufacturers for many years before retiring. A devout and faithful Christian, she was a lifelong member of the Pentecostal Church where she faithfully served for many years. A loving and devoted mother, she is survived by her cherished daughter, Elda Yadira Tourigny, her son in law Raymond and her four step grandchildren. She is also survived by her four brothers, Eliezer, Hiram, Jose (Pepe), and Neftali (Titi) Lopez and her two sisters, Elsa Migdalia and Nydia Rivera. She was the sister of the late Tony Israel, Nancy and Noemi Lopez, Ofelia Guerra, Heriberto and Eliud Lopez, and Carmen Iris Rivera.
