Eleanor Moore

Eleanor C. Moore (Lombardi-Simonelli), 90, passed away peacefully at home January 19, 2021. She was the wife of the late U.S Navy Serviceman, Roy E. Moore. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Alfonsina (Francazio) Simonelli.

She was the beloved mother of Robert Lombardi and wife Linda, David Lombardi, Michael Lombardi and wife Ruth, Stephen Lombardi, Gregory Lombardi, Bernadette Ciambrone, Timothy Lombardi, and Christopher Lombardi, and the proud Grandmother of 21 Grandchildren and 23 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Alfred Simonelli and was the sister of the late Gloria Marcello, Salvatore, Francesco and Albert Simonelli.

Eleanor was a lifelong devout Catholic who's unwavering morals, ethics, and values she instilled in her family. As Matriarch of her large family Eleanor's wisdom and council garnered the respect and admiration of all who enjoyed the pleasure of her company. Eleanor will be sadly missed but her spirit shall forever live on in the hearts and minds of all those lives she touched.
