Elena Giuliano

Elena Giuliano, 89, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Briarcliffe Manor. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Diana (Lautieri) Giuliano.

Elena worked for Green Tabaco and the State of Rhode Island Department of Transportation for many years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling around the country, dancing at various venues as it was her way of expressing joy for life.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Filomena Papa, Albert Giuliano, Alfred Giuliano, Melia Bova, Silvia DiBenedetto, Mary Torti and Yolanda Plante.

Visitation will be held Saturday morning, May 14, 2022 from 8:15 - 9:15 a.m. in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elena's memory may be made to St. Ann Church Memorial Fund, 2 Russo St., Providence, RI 02904.
