Elena Tirocchi

Elena Tirocchi, 91, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2024. She was the wife of the late Anthony A. Tirocchi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edith (Teolis) Corrente.

A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her four daughters, Debbie Spaur, Elaine Van Tassel, Carolyn Tacelli and Lisa Tirocchi; her brother, Frank Corrente; four grandchildren Anthony and Christopher Tacelli, Michael and Jason Spaur; and three great-grandchildren Luca, Domenic and Giuliana. She was the sister of the late Mary Gaglione, Raymond Corrente and Adeline Corrente. 

Visitation will be held Monday Morning, December 23, 2024 from 9 a.m. – 10:15 a.m., in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elena’s memory may be made to the Brain Inury Association of Rhode Island, 1029 Waterman Ave., East Providence, Rhode Island 02914
