Vera Rossi (Mollicone), 98, of Johnston, passed away surrounded by her children on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Rossi. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Bernardo and Maria (DeSantis) Mollicone.
She was a jewelry worker for many years at Wilton Jewelry until she retired. She was a great cook who loved to cook for her family.
She is survived by her son, Albert R. Rossi; her daughter, Lucille A. DeRobbio and her husband David, with whom she lived; two grandsons, David and Brian DeRobbio, and two great-grandsons, Cameron and Nicholas DeRobbio. She was the sister of the late Armando and Alfred Mollicone, Assunta Cairone, Lena Cerbo, Mary Antuono and Angelina Bottone and the mother-in-law of the late Jean Rossi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 8, 2021 at 10 AM in Holy Ghost Church, 472 Atwells Ave, Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted and her burial will be private.
