Emelia Moccio (Capraro), 84, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Ernest Moccio. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Marie (Rossi) Capraro.
Emelia enjoyed gardening and ceramics. Besides her husband of 58 years, she
is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert, Joseph and Carmino Capraro.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10am from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Visitation Sunday 4-7pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St Robert Bellarmine Food Closet, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
