Filomena "Phyllis" T. Marzilli, 95, formerly of Cranston, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Brookdale Smithfield. She was the wife of the late George N. Marzilli. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Francesca (Vaccaro) Solitro. Filomena worked for Columbus National Bank and Citizens Bank for many years before retiring. She was an active communicant of St. Mark's Church. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her daughter, Theresa "Terry" Moretti and her husband Jim; her granddaughter, Deborah Robitaille and her husband Dr. Jeffrey Robitaille; and 3 great-grandchildren, Luke, Camille and Blake, all of Smithfield. She was the sister of the late Pasquale Solitro and Nancy Peretti. Her funeral will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
