Flora Piscione, 93, of Johnston, formerly of Providence, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at Miriam Hospital. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Gaetana (DiStefano) Piscione.
She is survived by her beloved sister, Elsie Lombardo and several beloved nieces and nephews including Anne Prignano, Sal Piscione and Karen Giblin. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Anthony, Guido and Frank Piscione , Adeline “Lena” Marchetti, Lottie Rega, Filomena Piscione and Edith Albanese.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Ave., Providence. Visitation respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Holy Cross Church Memorial Fund, 18 King Philip St., Providence, RI 02909.
