Florence DeMasi (Paolino), 97, of North Providence, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Cherry Hill Manor. She was the wife of the late Peter S. DeMasi, Sr. Born in Barrington, she was the daughter of the late John and Christina (Rego) Paolino.
Mrs. DeMasi had worked for Franklin Process before retiring.
A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her son, Peter S. DeMasi and his wife Marguerite; her daughter, Christine F. Rioles and her husband Paul; her sister, Filomena Paolino; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Anthony and Emilio Paolino, Mary Lutrario, Melinda Inglesi, Anna Monente, Edith “Ida” Perrotta and Angelina “Tina” Pezzullo.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m., from the MACERONI Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. VISITATION Sunday 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
