Frank Colando, 78, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Elmwood Health Center. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ernest and Anita
(Mangiantini) Colando.
Frank leaves a sister, Gloria Iadevaia and her husband, Joseph Iadevaia, Sr.; an aunt, Elizabeth Mangiantini; five nephews, Frank, Alfred, Anthony, Christopher and Joseph Iadevaia, Jr.; four great nephews, Zachary, Alexander, Dylan and Anthony Iadevaia, Jr. and a great niece, Cheree Iadevaia. He was the grandson of the late Carlo and Fines Mangiantini and the late Frank Colando and Guilia Colando-Florio.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave., Warwick. Visitation Tuesday 5-7pm. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Odyssey Healthcare Hospice, Airport Professional Park, Suite 206, 2345 Post Rd., Warwick, RI 02884.
