Gennaro Gabriele

Mr. Gabriele was a self-employed mason and owner of G&C Contractors for many years before retiring. Gennaro served in the Italian Army. He was a talented artist and sculpturer, loved to make wine and was well versed in history. He was an avid gardener and especially loved to grow vegetables and flowers. Mr. Gabriele was a longtime member of the Santa Maria de Prata Society.

 He is survived by his two daughters, Lea Colardo and her husband Paul and Rosanna Hutnak and her husband Thomas; brother of Vincenzo Gabriele in Italy and Nella Gabriele in Italy; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Yolanda DiFolco.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m., followed by a Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gennaro’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
