Gloria A. Sciarra
October 24, 1944 — December 30, 2020
Gloria A. Sciarra (Piti), 76, of North Providence, passed away on December 30, 2020 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved wife of David Sciarra for 52 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Barresi) Piti.
Gloria worked as a dental receptionist for Barone Orthodontics for many years before retiring. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, David C. Sciarra and his wife, Debbie and Joseph Sciarra; her daughter, Kimberly Sciarra; two brothers, Nicholas and Joseph Piti; a sister, Georgina Ferraro; and her three cherished grandchildren, David Sciarra, Taylor Albanese and Antonio Albanese.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be private and visitation is respectfully omitted. Donations in Gloria's memory may be made to your favorite charity.
