Gregorio Goncalves

November 17, 1931 — October 22, 2024

 Gregorio D. Goncalves, 92, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 22, 2024 at home. He was the beloved husband of Teodora (Spencer) Goncalves. Born in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde, he was the son of the late Luis Pires and Maria Goncalves.

He was a custodian at Roger Williams Hospital, Providence before retiring.

Besides his wife leaves his four children, Humberto Goncalves, Crisolita Goncalves Santos, Paula Goncalves and Louis Goncalves, three brothers, the late Ademar Pires, Luis Pires and Joao Goncalves five sisters, Alice Pires, Ana Pires Medina, Orieta Pires, Maria Benros and Adelaide Goncalves, seven grandchildren, Oliviaa, John-Anthony, Victoriaa, Gregory, Gene, Elina and Louis.

A funeral service will be held Monday, October 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m..
