Gregory H. Petzold, 68, of North Providence, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 26, 2020 with his wife by his side. He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Schmidt) Petzold. Born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, he was the son of Howard Petzold and Joyce (Hardy) Bishop. He was the stepson of Robert Bishop.

Greg was the owner and operator of Garden City Tanker Chartering and had previously worked for International Tanker Chartering. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants Fan. He loved collecting Yankees memorabilia, coins, and stamps.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Jennifer O'Neill Lee, Deborah Petzold Conenna and her husband, Nicholas and Kathleen Petzold; a stepdaughter, Katelynn Tessier; a brother, Nelson Petzold and his wife Regina; a sister, Pamela Petzold Troutman; his Goddaughter, Theresa Lauro; nine grandchildren, Julianna, Daniel, Connor, Tristah, Paetyn, Madison, Emma, Sophie and Isabella; 2 nieces and four nephews. He was the brother of the late Christopher Petzold.
