Helen DiPippo (Simeone), of Providence, passed away peacefully at Elmhurst Extended Care on Friday, December 17, 2010. She was the beloved wife of Thomas DiPippo for 66 years. A lifelong resident of Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giacomo and Cecelia (Torzi) Simeone.
Helen was the loving mother of Thomas J. DiPippo and his wife Jean. She was the sister of the late Louis, William and Albert Simeone, Cora Criscuoli, Mae D’Agustino, Lucy Venditto and Edith Papitto. Helen, a giving and loving woman, found great pleasure in spending time with her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave., Providence, RI 02907-3150, (401) 942-6325.
