HELEN E. SAVINO, 90, a resident of Providence for the past 65 years, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Elmhurst Extended Care. She was the wife of the late Frank Savino. Born in Mapleville, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Sofie (Kralik) Drabik.
Helen had worked in the Dietary Department of Roger Williams Medical Center for 20 years until retiring. She loved shopping, reading and spending time with her family and family dog, Smuckers. She leaves a daughter, Maryann Rogers and her husband, Stephen, twin granddaughters, Stephanie and Lynn Rogers and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am, from the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Teresa Church, Manton Ave., Providence. VISITATION Tuesday 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to Hasbro Children’s Hospital, Box H, Providence, R.I. 02901.
