Howard O. Myers

Howard O. Myers, 73, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2020.  He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Bailey) Myers for 47 years.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Howard D. and Evelyn (Olson) Myers. Howard was a graduate of New England Tech and worked as an engineer for AEMC and Grinnell Corporation for many years before retiring.  A Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was the Commander of a P.B.R. River Boat.    In addition to his wife, he leaves his son, Joshua Myers and his wife Elizabeth; his daughter, Erika Ahern and her husband Michael; and six grandchildren, Harrison, Kiera, Julia, Colin; and twins, Roisin and Daragh.  Consistent with precautions due to the Coronavirus, his funeral and burial with Military Honors will be private.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.  Donations in Howard's memory may be made to: Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
