Ida J. Sisco

Ida J. Sisco, 93, of Smithfield, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019.  She was the beloved wife of James C. Sisco for 71 years.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gerardo and Carolina (Rufo) Izzi. Ida enjoyed bowling, bocce ball, golfing and playing cards.  She was an active member of AARP, the Sons of Italy and was a longtime parishioner of St. Anthony Church in North Providence. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Donna Sisco; her daughter-in-law, Helen Sisco; three grandchildren, James C. Sisco, Gregory Sisco and Jenna Calcagno; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  She was the mother of the late James A. Sisco and the sister of the late Anthony, Vincent, Daniel and Americo Izzi, Vera Leone and Christine D'Ordine. Visitation will be held Tuesday Morning, October 1, 2019 from 10 - 11 a.m.  immediately followed by a Prayer Service in the MACERONI FUNERAL HOME, 1381 Smith St., North Providence.  Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.  Please omit flowers.
